Orlando Parks & the Space Coast
Three theme-park days planned around pool breaks, and a day at Kennedy Space Center to see a real space shuttle, from a resort close to the park gates.
- Duration
- 5 nights
- Guide price
- from $2,100 pp
- Best time
- Jan–Apr, Oct–Nov
Five nights gives three park days and a day away from them in between, a pace that suits most families with young children. We match the rides to each child’s height and age, and we plan around school breaks, when the parks are busiest.
The itinerary
Day by day
Day 1
Arrival in Orlando
Your driver meets you at Orlando International for the ride to the resort. Save the parks for tomorrow; this afternoon belongs to the pool.
Day 2
First Park Day
Be at the gates when they open, using early entry where your resort offers it, and ride the big attractions while the lines are shorter. Head back for lunch and a swim when the crowds build, then return for the evening.
Day 3
Second Park Day
A different park, the same rhythm: an early start, a break in the middle of the day and a second session in the evening. Your day-by-day plan says which rides to book and when.
Day 4
The Space Coast
A driver takes you about an hour east to Kennedy Space Center, where Space Shuttle Atlantis is on display and a bus tour leads to the Saturn V moon rocket. If a launch is scheduled while you're in Florida, ask us about viewing tickets.
Day 5
Third Park Day
Go back to the family favorite or try a park you haven't seen yet. It's the last full day, so stay for the evening show if the park has one.
Day 6
Home from Orlando
Enjoy a slow breakfast and a final swim, then the transfer to the airport.
Want it a little different?
Add a second resort's parks, finish with three nights on the Gulf or Atlantic beaches, or trade the Space Coast for a winter morning with the manatees at the springs.
